Photos can use editing for sure! But if you edit it so much that you can’t recognize the person, is that really a good photo? I think the conversation comes down to preference and whether it is intentional.
There is a time and place for everything, including high editing. If it being used for art or intentionally I totally get it! But if you are taking headshots and edit to the point that the person is unrecognizable, I'm not sure that is a good quality headshot anymore.
As photos are evolving, people are starting to edit there pictures more and more. Sometimes the most beautiful shots are the ones that hardly need editing at all. Do you think that editing plays a part in the quality of a photograph?
